Elevate Your Resilience

The Situation

In a world defined by pressure and disruption, resilience is no longer optional. Every year, UK businesses lose billions to stress and burnout. The cost is clear - lost focus, poor decisions, rising absence, and turnover. Resilient Performance gives your people the tools to self-regulate, perform consistently, and sustain energy when pressure peaks.

Unlock potential

Resilience is more than recovery - it’s readiness. Over two days, participants learn proven techniques to recognise and adapt to situational pressure, recover fast, and stay clear-headed when it counts.

The result: confident, capable people who bring composure and consistency back into your organisation - improving decision making, retention, and overall wellbeing.

Embed Resilience

For Organisations serious about making resilience part of how they lead, decide, and perform - not another short-term initiative. It’s for HR, L&D, and senior leaders who understand that resilient performance is a competitive advantage, not a checkbox. Those ready to build lasting capability, embed sustainable habits, and create a culture defined by clarity, composure, and control.

Your Guides

The DARKSWAN Guides don’t talk about resilience - they’ve lived it. They come from the military, blue light services, adventure, the circus, business, and the charitable sector - all environments where calm under pressure defines success. They translate that experience into practical lessons that help your people think clearly, perform confidently, and recover quickly when it counts.

ACCREDITATION

ACCREDITATION Support

All participants working toward accreditation receive continued support after their course. DARKSWAN provides virtual or in-person support sessions to guide workbook completion, clarify parameters, and help participants demonstrate competence at their chosen level. Our team is on hand to ensure every learner feels confident completing the accreditation process.

FAQs

Is this just another pseudo-science course?

No. This isn’t about stress tips or slogans - it’s about performance under pressure. We teach the psychology and physiology that enable clear thinking and effective decisions when it matters most.

How is this different from other resilience programmes?

Most programmes focus on skills - what to do when things get tough. We focus on state — how to think, feel, and perform when pressure is on. Because when you can regulate your internal state, your skills work when it matters most. The Resilient Performance Course goes beyond theory or surface-level coping strategies. It combines the latest neuroscience and performance
psychology with practical tools used by elite performers, leaders, and teams under real pressure. It’s not about teaching resilience - it’s about helping your people live it in every decision, interaction, and challenge.

What does the accreditation involve?

You’ll complete a short workbook and case study that demonstrate how you’ve applied resilient performance principles within your role. Support is available via virtual or face-to-face coaching if needed.

What are the qualification levels?

You can complete at Level 3, 5, or 7 under the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales (CQFW), depending on your role. Level 3 focuses on team leadership, Level 5 on operational influence, and Level 7 on strategic application.

Can I take the course without accreditation?

Yes. You can attend as a standalone development experience and upgrade later if you decide to complete the qualification.

Are there limits to how the accreditation can be used?

Yes. This accreditation qualifies you to lead and advise within your organisation - not to deliver raining commercially. All materials remain protected under copyright.

How long do I have to complete my accreditation?

You’ll typically have up to six months after your course to submit your workbook and case study.

What support will I receive?

You’ll have access to DARKSWAN coaches through virtual or in-person sessions as needed. We’re committed to helping every participant succeed.

Where are the courses held?

At select UK venues: current locations include the RNLI College (Poole), Silverstone Circuit, Hereford, and the Imperial War Museum, London.
